BiographyIn December 2013, co-founders Robert Bloebaum and Rob Kiser worked together on starting a band which later became Searching Serenity. In January of 2014, Trey Finley joined as rhythm guitarist, and later that month Tommy Gibson joined as bassist. The band worked on material together and in march went to Caleb Clayton and recorded their first single "Betrayer". Later in march, the band parted ways with bassist Tommy Gibson and Alan Tanner joined in his place. In April, drummer Joshua Towne joined the band and in May parted ways, In which drummer Douglas Manzone (Robert's brother) Joined in his place. The band went on to play their first debut show at the 1904 music hall on September 22nd in support of The Things They Carried, The Funeral Portrait, Megosh, and Alesana. In october the band parted ways with guitarist Trey Finley and guitarist Colby Kiser joined. In January of 2015 vocalist Rob Kiser and the band parted ways. In March the band put out their first self titled EP. In april, vocalist Marcus DeLoach joined the band. In May guitarist Colby Kiser and the band parted ways. The bands current lineup as of January 2016 is Robert Bloebaum, Alan Tanner, Douglas Manzone, and Marcus DeLoach. The band has put out two singles titled Abedah and Escape off of their upcoming EP titled "Mortifer: Bearer Of Death" (Recorded by Robert Bloebaum, Mixed and Mastered by Kyle Hoffer) due out spring of 2016. Their second EP was officially released on May 23rd, and as of June they have three upcoming shows.
